Nick Chertock, CPA, has over 20 years of experience in public accounting in the San Francisco Bay Area, working as a tax advisor primarily assisting high net worth families, small business owners, and Trusts/Estates. He has extensive experience working with Real Estate sales professionals and their clients, as well as technology executives with complex equity compensation issues. He aims to be a trusted advisor and understand his clients’ entire financial picture. Nick enjoys simplifying complex tax topics, while working with the clients’ other advisors to form a team that will structure their financial affairs to create the best tax outcome.
Nick previously worked for 4 years as a Tax Director at CBIZ SLD (formerly Shea LaBagh Dobberstein) and previously worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Eide Bailly in Palo Alto and Seiler in San Francisco.
Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from The University of San Diego in 1997. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the TriValley Estate Planning Council.
In his free time, Nick can be found with his wife and three daughters in the East Bay at one of their sporting events, camping in the woods, or on the golf course.
